About us

TransFlowerOutlet is the distributor of fresh-cut flowers, supplying florists, wedding and event organisers, businesses and individuals with wholesale flowers at trade prices. The company supplies and delivers top quality cut flowers, bunches, mixed bouquets and plants to its valued customers. TransFlowerOutlet supplies of bunches and bouquets of fresh cut flowers, floral sundries (floral foam, trays, ribbons, baskets, wrappings, etc.) Fresh-cut flowers include roses, lilies, sprays, orchids, proteas, tulips and eucalyptus. This has been essential to forming long-term, collaborative partnerships with many farms across South Africa that are equipped to deliver the same high-quality flowers the company cultivates. This strong, local network of farms provides TransFlowerOutlet an ample variety of quality flowers to fully satisfy their customers’ floral needs.

Transfloweroutlet was founded by businessman devoted to responding actively and creatively to challenging needs in the floriculture market in terms of demand, supply and distribution. It was known as Giftfluential Florist operating from the garage offering small bouquets in the B2C space. The company has now changed its to Transfloweroutlet, now servicing the entire floriculture market expanded its service offering to B2B space, all the way from plant breeder to shopper delivering fresh-cut flowers, bouquets and potted plants and we also organise the logistics. We have built strong relationship with suppliers, farmers and also sourcing from the auction, Multiflora. We deliver direct to your doorsteps targeting florists, event planners, the hospitality industry, floral designers, and wedding coordinators.

1. What delivery company do you work with?

We currently use our own fleet and also work with other courier companies to ship out all our orders.

After shipping out your order with the delivery service, we can’t provide an exact time on when it will arrive other than the timeframe previously stated. If it’s been more than the time provided, please contact us and we will help resolve the issue.

The minimum order amount 1 box of 100 roses or an equivalent assortment of different flowers.

All types of EFT, credit cards and Payfast.

2. Can I edit my order?

Once an order has been placed, no changes or edits can be done. If the matter is urgent, please contact us via email and we will respond immediately and provide a solution.

4. I need to cancel my order, what's your policy?

If you haven’t received a confirmation email, please contact us via email to check if cancellation or any other alternative is possible. However, if your order has already been shipped out then our options are minimal due to the perishable nature of our products.

Delivery information

When should I Order?
All our wholesale cut flowers and foliage are packed with absolute care to ensure they arrive with you as fresh as the day they left. Make sure special orders are placed in plenty of time.

Future Dates
The price and availability of our wholesale flowers reflect the current flower auction value and seasonal availability, so unfortunately, we are unable to take orders for advance dates. We have 4 set delivery days each week (shown below) and recommend that you order nearer time.

Wedding & Events
If you are ordering for an event, we recommend that you place your order in time, to be delivered 2-3 days in advance of your event date, ensuring that the flowers have time to develop and condition.

Outline Areas
Next day delivery cannot be guaranteed – please allow up to 2 days for delivery (no Saturday delivery available).

Please do be aware that delivery of wholesale flowers will require the correct conditioning on receipt of the order and should be delivered at least 2 to 3 days prior to the event to allow time for this (depending on the type of flowers required). This method aims to increase value for both customers and growers. Apart from cost savings, buying directly from us means better quality, quicker delivery, and a more sustainable approach.

Delivery days

Orders can be placed no more than 8 days in advance.
If you place your order on a Monday, you can have your flowers delivered on either:
• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday (the same week)

If you place your order on a Tuesday, you can have your flowers delivered on either:
• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday (the same week)

If you place your order on a Wednesday, you can have your flowers delivered on either:
• Thursday, Friday & Saturday (the same week)

If you place your order on a Thursday, you can have your flowers delivered on either:
• Friday & Saturday (the same week)

If you place your order on a Friday, you can have your flowers delivered on either:
• Friday & Saturday (the same week if order placed before 12pm)

If you place your order on a Saturday or Sunday you can have your flowers delivered on either:
• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday (the commencing week/ following week)

Delivery costs

GAUTENG
Standard Delivery R250 (usually before 12.30pm but can be later depending on carrier used)
Weekday Delivery before 12h00 R250 (Not available for all Postcodes)
Saturday Delivery – standard delivery (R300)

OUTLINE AREAS
Standard Delivery R350 (usually before 12.30pm but can be later depending on carrier used)
Saturday Delivery – standard delivery (R350)
All delivery costs exclude VAT

Please note:
Wholesale flowers need conditioning correctly and should be delivered 2-3 days before your event to hydrate & develop properly – delivery should never be made on the day before or same day as your event. Also please note that varieties such as Lilies, Freesia, Ornithogalum and Alstroemeria can take up to a week to open nicely depending on the time of year. Do not order one day prior / same day to your event, in case a box is delayed by courier you will be stressed out and we do not refund boxes that are delayed 1-2 days.
It is very important that someone is available to accept delivery, especially if wholesale cut flowers are part of the order because they should be unpacked and conditioned as soon as possible.
